Loved working with the clients of this large exterior lovely mosaic.
The original glass sky and some of the tree areas had separated from the cinder block wall.
This was an opportunity to design something whimsical and new.
Bullseye sky blue stained glass was used for most of the sky.
Stained glass was used for the birds, leaves. Mirror and iridescent glass is used for added magic throughout the mosaic.
The large mosaic mural now softly glitters like a lovely gem.
A flexible silicone was used for adhesive to mitigate separation of glass due to moisture seepage from the cinder block.
Traditional cement grout was used in colors to match the original work.
