St. Francis is the patron of animals and nature, one of the first environmentalists. I like to think of him as an Animal Whisperer!
His mission in his short life (44) was to inspire empathy and compassion for all living beings - especially our natural world.
This painting is a homage to the love of our natural world in magical setting.
