A public art mosaic mural for Tucson International Airport. Mosaic mixed media mural has stained glass, reverse glass painting, stones, and the Tohono O' Odham folktale of Coyote and Bluebird.
The Tohono O' Odham folk tale of coyote and bluebird is bilingual in english and spanish, centered over the fountain.
The center of the mosaic mural has a reverse glass painting of small wood rat (aka pack rat) and a stained glass desert poppy flower.
Real fossils, agates, glass gems, and ceramic stone simulate the water. A hand painted mural is the background for the mosaic.
This is one of four permanent mosaic murals on the baggage level at the Tucson International Airport.
